September, 2018-New York, NY–       PTP debuted it’s Fall/Winter Innovation Showcase, Exposed, at MakeUp In New York.  Featuring  products in all categories of PTP manufacturing capabilities, including emulsions, lipsticks and slurry powders,

The 20 piece collection boosts original formulations, high-performance products, and marketing stories that address consumer trends.

The goal of balancing natural ingredients and safe synthetic materials to create unique benefits and textures is evident throughout the collection.  According to R&D Chemist, Mia Robb, “effective formulas start with the right ingredients.”

PTP Invests in New Slurry Filling Machine: Powder Capabilities Increase

May , 2018-Olyphant, PA-PTP expands powder filling offerings with the installation of a new Liquid Powder/Slurry filling machine.

This semi-automated machine is capable of producing intricate designs with multiple colors, patterns and 3D images into a variety of different packaging styles including metal, plastic/ceramic clay pans and back injection compacts.

This new filling capability has led to innovative formulating at PTP R&D lab.  PTP chemists are currently developing binder compositions that provide high shine, color intensity and superior wear.  “Slurry mixtures are customizable and we are excited to offer an array of formulas in this category,” says Ryan Mayer, PTP Chemist.

PTP Implements New ERP Platform

April 30, 2018-Olyphant, PA – PTP is pleased to announce the implementation of a new, comprehensive software application.  Partnering with Deacom Inc., PTP custom engineered an ERP system to address its growth and expansion.

This modern platform integrates all facets of PTP operations including product planning, development, material purchasing, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and accounting.  Streaming all modules into a unified, easy-interface database will standardize critical procedures at PTP.

As PTP expands its operations, the Deacom ERP will help facilitate better project management, improve accuracy and provide more efficient customer service. According to Daryl Timek, IT Director at PTP, “we can grow with Deacom in ways our previous systems would not allow.”
